Hi Gerry, 

This is something that I would like to have in KiCAD (among with some
other post processing features) that will make KiCAD produce more
professional manufacturing data.

A have some ideas about how it could be implemented but I'm afraid I
don't have the skils do do it my self. If you have the skils and
desire to improve this, please send me a mail to magnus at
beischer.com and I'll brief you about my ideas.
