Magnus gave me some ideas :-)
I'm working on a new patch that will keep only vertical (or horizontal)
zone filling tracks ad use my old patch to smooth the borders.
I guess this will give us a performance improvement.
First results are encouraging!
I'll post the results today or in few days.
