Hi,
I have just compiled SVN to check out the new zoom code. The list of
Zooms I'm using has 1, 1.5, 2.2, 3, 4.5 ..... 2000 options. I find
this list fine, actually I hardly notice any difference between the
original zoom code and this version.
The only difference I would have liked is a zoom value less than 1 in
eeschema, other than that I have not found anything really limiting
about KiCad's zoom as-was. But of course, I have seen Jean-Pierre's
comments on specifically not having zooms under 1 in eeschema.
So for me, _zoom_factor_ as current SVN seems good, but it would have
been nice to see a bit more _zoom_travel_
We have issued quite a few boards now with KiCad, it's really coming
along. The new zone fill using polygons seems to work really well,
I've tested it on a few boards here and also hats off to whoever
implemented the net-names on pads and tracks - that is a really nice
bonus for KiCad!
Well done and nice work guys.
Best Regards,
Brian.
