I found this one a while back. Grid enabling is now individually saved
for each frame where the grid is used. This means you can have the grid
turned on in EESchema and turned off in the component library editor and
the grid setting for each drawing frame will be remembered.

I just committed a fairly large change to CVPcb. I actually made some
changes that the end user will notice instead of my usual under the hood
changes to make life easier for developers. Of course, the jury is
still out on whether that is a good thing or not. ;) When you get a
chance, please take a look at the user and developer changes that I made
to CVPcb and let me know what you think. These changes reflect what I
attempted to convey to the group a few weeks ago. If no one has any
objections, I'll continue to chip away at the rest of Kicad as time permits.
