It wont be an ideal solution. The user may have to tweak the settings
in the page setup and printer setup dialogs to achieve the desired
results but at least you will be able to get a usable print out to
either a postscript file or a printer. There is currently a disconnect
between the print preview and the output to the printer so the user may
have to print more than once to get exactly whet they want. The
postscript print preview does match the output so you have the option of
printing to a postscript file and then sending the output to a printer
using a postscript viewer such as Evince on Linux.

I will add a project setting to enable or disable monochrome when the
user select grey scale from the print dialog. That way you can print in
grey scale as well as monochrome.
