Odd error on OSX

I am experiencing an really odd error on OSX build 2357, in PCBNEW.

1) Placed a part in PCBNEW 
2) Changed Net names on both pads
3) Tried changing label by double clicking.
a) typed "1p" and attempted to press "t" and the program opens another dialog window to search footprint.
4) Tried changing the label with control+click -> edit
a) same results as before.
