Lorenzo,

Please be do not get discouraged by the lack of response to your merge request.
 I will try to take a look at this patch as soon as possible but I have been
very busy.  It may take another week or two before I can look at it.  I want to
be sure I understand where your headed with your new selection code and make
sure that EESchema remains usable before I would be willing to commit it.
Generally speaking we try to keep the testing branch as usable as possible so
any major breakage would be frowned upon.  I read you change description (PDF)
and it looks good.  I commend you for your effort to document your changes.
Thank you for your effort and interest in contributing to Kicad.
