Some kind of crude push and shove plus automatic clearances for wires and components is very useful for speeding up drawing and tidying up the schematic. Even Eagle has some automatic routing help for schematic wires.

This is the kind of functionality that separates computer aided drawing from pencil and eraser method. It can do some smart work for you and the drawer can concentrate on the essential part. Naturally these helpers must be optional funtionality.
