Re: KiCad documentation contribution - some help

Dear Jean-Pierre,
thank you for your quick reply.

In attachment you can find the KiCad tutorial "Getting Started in
Kicad". you have the open-office file and the pdf version of it. You
also have an open-office diagram that describes the kicad workflow
(used in the tutorial).

I have spent quite some time on it and I think it can replace the old
one which was called "KiCad Step by Step tutorial":
www.kicadlib.org/Fichiers/KiCad_Tutorial.pdf

I would be very happy if all 3 files will be distributed with future
versions of KiCad. I thank you in advance if you can help me to make
it possible.

Also, I'd like to place a link in the KiCad top menu where manuals are
now linked with: Help -> Contents. I think it would be very useful for
many people to have the link: Help > Getting started with KiCad. This
could be for the KiCad menu as well as for EEschema, PCBnew, etc. I
have tried to understand the current KiCad code in order to do
implement the link, but I did not really understand how to do it. If
you can point me to the right direction I can try again.

Best regards
Fabrizio
PS: Jean-Pierre, needless to say that I find KiCad a very very good
EDA tool, thank you for it !
