Re: improving how Kicad is presented to people

 

Hi Fabrizio,

I maintain a PPA with debian/ubuntu packages built any day that there are
changes in the testing tree. (My terminology may not be 100% correct.)

I can talk with the current package maintainer and see about updating this
more often, especially before the freeze before a new Ubuntu release, which
is every 6 months.

I am not sure what is the norm for packages, but I think it would be
reasonable to update the Ubuntu/Debian trees every month or two, especially
given the rate of progress.

I can look into this over the next week.
