I don't think he said something so oscene (but Dick overreacts to
everything, I don't know why);

I think it's standard practice to rewrite in 'something better' a piece
of code that is not performing well enough... it's called prototyping
after all.

If it works well, twice as good, one rewrite in less to do! (some
prototyping philosophy advocates to junk anyway the first piece of code,
but that would be a waste:D)

Then obviously everyone has its favourite languages, maybe he prefers
C++ to python (or the other way around)
