It will be interesting if they publish something... and since I know
zero german I can't really tell if in the homepage of the relator there
is something relevant.

At the moment the issues I have found (in silkscreening) are:
- Relatively huge silk 'grid' (I don't know the proper term)
  => the 'pen size' is *at least* 0.2 mm
- Usually too little space => need to use a 'condensed' font like the
  ISO one (or simply different h-scaling)

Issue 1) usually makes impossible to simply rasterize TTF since they
come out as blobs (since the actual resolution is about 127 dpi).

For small text could be interesting to try something like the 5x7 pixel
font used in LCDs...
