Probably most of those default to ON, so I don't supply them.

Here's what works for me against 3.1, aka SVN HEAD of wx:

../configure --with-gtk --prefix=/opt/wx3.x-stl --enable-debug --enable-debug_info
--enable-debug_gdb --with-expat --enable-html --enable-stl --with-regex=builtin


I am developing a suspicion that --enable-stl plays a positive role in making this work.
It's only a suspicion at the moment, so you can wait if you want until I know more.
