At least some thing on the mailing list would have been useful.

We never heard *a thing* of these spreadsheet you posted until today.

So obviously there is a 'shadow government' behind all this which
obviously doesn't care about other developers on the main list.

That's sad since many of the improvements are actually quite
interesting (like the sequence/set abstraction), other things could have
maybe done differently (for example serializing using layer names
instead of hex values).

Don't complain about having few contributors if you plan to do
everything behind others back like that.

(still a lot of changes to merge... you're right about the size of that
patch:P)
