Re: New Project Leader

Dick,

Thank you for the vote of confidence. I hope I can be half the project
leader that you have been. More importantly, thank you for all the
years of dedication and contributions you've made to help make KiCad
what it is today. I can say with absolute certainty that KiCad would
*not* be where it is today without your leadership. I will miss
collaborating with you. It has been one heck of ride. Please keep in
touch.

KiCad Developers,

I have been entrusted with the continued development of KiCad. I will
be honest in that I do not have the amount of time to commit that Dick
has had. Therefore, at some point in the future I will be asking
certain individuals to take certain leadership roles with various parts
of KiCad that I feel matches their talents and interests. I want to
avoid being overwhelmed by the load and becoming another open source
project leader burn out. In the short term, I don't expect things to
change very much. Please be patient with me as I get up to speed in my
new roll.

Best Regards,

Wayne
