IMHO logos, mounting holes, etc. are all footprints. Anything that is an
object that takes space on any PCB layer is a footprint in my head.
Although an exception could be lines an text, but they are certain
simplified footprints undependent from stuff from the schematic netlist.
This should not be hard to distinguish.
