There is a (perhaps-) unintended consequence of the "single bundle/application" set-up is that you can't command-tab between eeschema and pcbnew. You can do so between whichever Kicad window has foreground focus and other non-Kicad applications, but you can't do it between the Kicad applications.
Which is annoying.
