When moving to OS X 10.10.1, an upgrade of ALL the development tools is in order.
I use MacPorts, and the upgrade took a good while. But now I am running great.
My OS X builds of KiCad are running fine now, but to be on the safe side, I delete the old source and I rebuild from a fresh download.
I did rebuild wxWidgets 3.0.2 when I moved to 10.10.1.
I use the stock Boost 1.56.
I am not sure when the path to the help files changed, but I can wait until someone tells me where to install them. I just keep them in my Documents folder for the time being.

Great!
I might add that the latest version of Yosemite is 10.10.1, Xcode is 6.1.1 and Command Line tools is 6.1.1.
After updating any of these tools - a restart is helpful.

Hi folks,
I'm wrapping up the next OS X preview snapshot to post to the list this week. It will have the libraries and help, and I have written up some use cases so we can use them to discuss necessary changes.
I am aiming to have a good, usable OS X snapshot by the end of this month along with good documentation (and a fancy DMG).
Are there any bugs that people know of that would block this? What is the current state of OS X scripting builds?
I haven't seen the "red screen" bug in quite some time--good work team!
