Bob,

I misspoke.  .pretty is for footprints.  I need another cup of coffee.

I see over 2000 schematic symbols in your list.  As far as I know, that's
to be expected.

The Mac install situation isn't the best right now, but I think everything
looks installed ok with regards to eeschema on your system.
