Hello,

We’ve been testing the above mentioned KiCad version. We wanted to
convert our modules form the legacy .mod- to the current .pretty
version. On the internet we found a procedure to do this, but when the
legacy libraries are added using the wizard the nicknames are not
automatically appended to the path’s. So we ended up with a few
libraries, each consisting of a nickname and the same path for all. We
then had to (manually) add the nicknames followed by .mod to the paths
in order to be able to use them.

When we use the new version with flipped smd’s (smd’s at the bottom cu
layer) the smd-pad’s do not show up in the layout. They do show in 3D
however ! We’ve noticed that ‘modules front’ and ‘modules back’ are no
longer available in the layer-menu. Compared with te current stable
version the effect in the latest testing-version looks as if rendering
the modules on the backside is switched off.
