How do I change between these?  Is it a compile option?  I just
ran the compiled binary with no changes "out of the box".

Both eeschema and the library editor didn't draw any rubber-band
lines until end-of-line.

> Which GPU/driver have you on the machine?

Its a Lenovo G500  AMD/Radeon laptop.

lspci says its an Intel 3rd Gen VGA compatible graphics controller.
