User grid error in footprint editor

As pointed out on the user mailing list and I verified this on BZR 5871:

The User Grid in the footprint editor seems to default to 100 inches, and if you change it, that change isn't "sticky." The next time you open the footprint editor the User Grid reverts back to 100 inches.

It’s bug #1471020.
