Re: OS X builds up and running again
Okay, I’ve had a look at this and updated the bug. It’s a rather curious issue and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that it’s root cause is a regression in El Capitan (it is a beta after all). The issue is definitely caused by a change in behavior in NSWindow, but it’s pure speculation on my part that it is not intentional. We’re hitting due to our overlay patch, which I why it isn’t impacting other wxWidgets projects.
So, I first need to understand whether we need to do anything at all, which means hacking up a minimal repro and filing a bug. I’m not sure I’ll have a chance to do that before the weekend. In the mean time I have a patch to our overlay patch that should get things working for folks out on the bleeding edge, but it isn't something that should be applied to the tree at this point, I think.
