I'm not sure how much the change component to normal orientation (N) hot
key is used in Eeschema. I don't ever recall using it so it's probably
reasonably (famous last words) safe to change it to Ctrl+N and us N and
Shift+N as the grid select hot keys.

This should have been done a long time ago. I'm in favor of doing this
after the stable release. I'm in the process of making a big push for
getting the last remaining serious bugs fixed and any last minute
polishing (which I consider this hot key issue to be) done. Otherwise,
we will never stable release done anytime soon.
