Never used the project manager because it's messy to have both eeschema
and pcbnew in the same process... I simply call eeschema from the
command line. Also the project window is, quite simply, not useful and
in the way:P

Can't see why it shouldn't work that way too, eeschema already can
access the footprint repositories for itself...
