When searching for KiCad Windows I find that Google tends to direct you to:

http://www.kicad-pcb.org/display/KICAD/Windows

which has really old info and only links to the old stable release with 
no mention of the more recent development releases.

Only when you go in through the home page and follow the installing 
KiCad link you arrive here:

http://www.kicad-pcb.org/display/KICAD/Installing+KiCad#InstallingKiCad-Windows

which indicates that the old stable is sort of deprecated and has links 
to the development versions.

It might be good if the old link info gets updated so it is consistent?

Not sure who has access to this.
