Re: Version 4 stable branch rc1 released.
I believe I have a working set of ebuilds for Gentoo/Funtoo, located here:
https://github.com/iwoloschin/overlay
I've split KiCad (binaries) and kicad-libraries (components & footprints)
into two separate ebuilds, though I'm not sure it's necessary. I've done
very minimal testing at this point, but it compiles and runs, so it's a
start! I'd like to clean stuff up a bit, but it's currently at the point
that I believe it to be useable.
Not sure anyone else here use Gentoo/Funtoo, so unless you guys would like
me to wait I'll go ahead and post this on the KiCad.info forums as well,
probably later tonight or tomorrow. After I get some testing done and I
know I haven't done something stupid with my ebuilds I can try to write up
a quick blurb for the Downloads page on the website.
