Message #20791
No blueprint discussions?
Hello all,
I'm new to this list and there are apparently no searchable list
archives, so I hope it's not too much to simply ask.
In search of best practices I currently read a lot of documentation and
also visit forums. One pretty obvious thing is that the learning curve
for editing is apparently high. Behaviour of the Cairo canvas differs
substantially from the OpenGL canvas and neither of them is in alignment
with human interface guidelines of the respective OS platform. This
leads to confusion, even experienced users miss procedures as simple as
deleting a track:

One procedure to get closer to a solution would be to open a blueprint
and to discuss the issue there, isn't it? Hopefully oriented towards
finding a solution, of course.
There are a number of blueprints, but the ones I looked into are all
almost empty. A short sentence, no draft, no discussion.
So the question is wether blueprints are the right place for finding a
solution. Are there other, more preferred places? Or should I simply
start another one and invite the forum participants?
Thanks,
Markus
