Re: [rfc patch] replace avhttp with libcurl
OK.
So as far as I know there are only two issues.
1. A race condition someone was having in avhttp where it stops
receiving data, no way is this dns related but could be threading
related.
2. The pretty repos were deleted and renamed in the last week or two.
Old fp-lib-tables look for them still and kicad throws errors, if you
go to the URLS you will not get the packages and github will 404.
Nothing to do with DNS will fix this other than kicad being more
graceful. ALOT of users were using "beta" builds of kicad and so MANY
people have outdated fp-lib-tables. These tables do not get
overwritten by installers since they are local configs.
I am not trying to really fix either with this patch. #1 being fixed
is just a benefit. I want to hell purge the library for the other reasons.
