Hi everyone!

I'm planning translating some of the kicad-doc to German.
However I could not find any information if there is a "head of 
translation" or any German translation team.
Is there anyone I could approach for checking my results if done?

Also: I'm not quite sure what's the current source and how to go from there.
I did fork and then clone https://github.com/KiCad/kicad-doc from github.
The different translations seem to live in src/$program_module/po/
Is it enough to copy one of the existing translation files {it|ja|pl}.po 
to de.po and then just put in there the German translation?
Is poedit (on Ubuntu) the right tool to use? Or can this do some 
unwanted stuff?
