Hi Brian,

the instructions on that page do not fit to the actual available data.
I only cloned the "kicad-doc"
There are only addendum.xx files in the corresponding $program_module/po 
directories.

There is not a single Makefile in the src path that could be used to 
generate some output via make.

So either the repository is missing some files or the 
translation_instructions are made for a different installation...

may be right for the GUI translation, but in the documentation there is 
no makefile
