Yes, no worries. I am absolutely happy not messing around deeper
with WM/X11 stuff here. KISS this Can-o-Worms.

It's understood and fixed here, I think (will check again).
I was propably inprecise: it was some default xbindkeys setting
I've overlooked to disable which caused this. Sorry for the noise, here.
