Message #24312
hotkeys config menu coherence
I wonder why now the hotkey config menu is in the same position with the same
name in all kicad suite programs that use hotkeys, but for eeschema.
Now eeschema sports a "Preferences" menu with just _4_ items.
Inside this menu the hotkey list is buried into an obscure and
counterintuitive...
"Preferences" -> "Schematic editor options" -> "Controls"
a) Controls? Not Hotkeys? Why this change? Why just there?
b) In the same "Preferences" menu there is "Import and export" ->
"Import/Export hotkeys" (see? not "Controls"...)
and
c) BTW IMHO hotkeys should be translated as well ("space", "return", etc.)
Leave the other options there (these are not exportable or importable
with hotkeys definitions) but I would rather prefer to have a vertical
subdivision instead of an horizontal "tab" organization.
TIA
