So, coincidentally, I've been wrangling OS X build issues over the last few
weeks, mostly based around the C++11 stuff.

Today, I tried setting the minimum build version to 10.9, vs 10.7 as it has
been in the past, and it built fine.

I think it might be time to switch to 10.9.  10.7 got its last security
update from Apple in September 2014.  10.8 is also end of life'd by Apple.
