Hi All,
In 2016-10-22 revision 1840c3c I activated the advanced aperture and net attributes option in Gerber
files.
(This is an option, and this metadata will be included only on request)
These advanced options are now finalized,
(To understand them, see
https://www.ucamco.com/files/downloads/file/189/gerber_component_and_netlist_-_final.pdf?3d90d5ac39ab13049f543f41d0ecec38)
and Ucamco has already validated my test files.
Of course this metadata will be fully useful in some time, when the board houses are able to use it,
but *now* it is already useful in Kicad for guys who want to verify the Gerber files before sending
them to the board maker.
Please, send me yours remarks about this feature.
