This comes up every so often and it never ceases to amaze me what people
expect the KiCad project to do for free.  It really does nothing to make
me (and I'm guessing other developers as well) want to help them.  It's
a good thing none of these folks work for me because there employment
would be short lived.  Even complex symbols don't take that long to
create so they spent more time typing their arguments on a forum than it
would have taken to just create the symbol.  Where is the sense in that?
