Re: [REQUEST] Default library install location
Exactly how much hand holding is KiCad expected to do? There is already
a "save the current library as" command in the file menu of both the
symbol and footprint library editors. There is a small bug in that
grays out the command until you load a symbol but it allows you to save
any library to a folder that the user has write access to and modify it
at will without changing the originally installed libraries which IMO is
a good thing. Of course you could do a good old fashion file copy or
git clone or ... How many ways to we really need to perform this one
simple task or am I completely missing something.
