To me they look perfectly fine bunch of files thrown on a shelf without
side support. The one that is tilted is just not full yet and has bad
balance as result (BTW they would fall that way too...). Neat stack
example [1] and less neat (but wrong tilt direction) [2].
Oh the joys of bikeshedding, but do they really need change for the sake
of just change? File browser icons are quite a coherent set.
