Re: Mac HighDPI performance

 

I'm beating a limp horse but this makes it for the case of releasing an
incremental 5.1 before realizing the full roadmap of v6 (which is quite
ambitious, as was the roadmap of v5, which also did not get realized
anyway), there are several projects/features that have or should be pushed
back for after 5.0 is out, but wont cause so much disruption as to
necessitate a full new major release. That way it is so much easier to be
strict on enforcing the freeze if you know the feature will come out in a 6
month incremental release vs this massive new release that is far in the
horizon.
