I’m not sure where it fits into the roadmap, but the main EESchema feature I’d like to see implemented is the embedding of schematic symbols into the schematic sheet, in the same way that footprints are part of the kicad_pcb file.
Also the whole idea of renumbering the reference designators in a layout to be geographical, and then backannotating the designators to the schematic. (A guy can dream ..)
