I'm fine with the current behavior but some users may prefer the
expanded subunit behavior.  I just don't want the expanded subunit
behavior to be the only one.  An option would handle this nicely.

Putting the option in the file chooser is probably less than ideal.
This dialog is already pretty crowded.  It seems like the best place for
this option would be in the Eeschema preferences dialog but I'm open to
suggestion on this.
