Hi all,
I'm very new here. Can you help me with one topic, as I'm in doubt?
That's what written in Kicad developers guide:

Patches are currently submitted and handled via the  developer mailing list , where you have to apply for membership to be able to send to it. Alternatively, you can attach patches to bug reports or submit a merge request on Launchpad.

Is submitting patches through developers mailing list is preferred way to contribute? Or better to submit merge requests through launchpad in some cases (big commit, or something else)?
