Dutch translation of the KiCAD 6.X user interface needs attention

Hi,

The KiCAD 6.0 user interface in Dutch is ready for improvement.

There are many, many issues.

Dutch uses more characters than English. Quite a few dialogue buttons can’t display the full text, because the horizontal size is too small.

In a lot of dialogue boxes the word “Sparen….” is used. This means “Collect your money and put it somewhere for later use”. 😊Is should be “Save…” which means “Store the information somewhere, so I can use it later”.

“Reassign numbers” in the menu is translated to “Geografisch opnieuw annoteren” which means “The plan of this city/area is invalid, go out and measure the city/area to correct this” which is a gruesome task.

And many, many other issues.

So, if I can be of any help, please let me know. I am a pending member of the “KiCad Documentation team”.

Met vriendelijke groet / Kind regards / S pozdravem / Mit freundlichen Grüβen,

Dennis Kuit, Senior Software Engineer
