Hey folks. So, I had a talk with poolie yesterday and he thought that I
should introduce myself and keep you guys up-to-date on what I'm doing
with loggerhead. I'm not the main loggerhead contact, but I am, it
seems, becoming the contact for loggerhead stability, particularly in
relation to Launchpad. Sometimes this also makes me the contact for
loggerhead scalability, since most of loggerhead's "stability" problems
on Launchpad are actually scaling problems.
In the last several months I've fixed a few of the major crash or hang
issues with loggerhead on launchpad. At the moment I'm working on this one:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/loggerhead/+bug/518689
If the LOSAs or any other Launchpad folks have concerns or questions
about loggerhead stability, I'm the person to ask. Make sure to
subscribe me to any bugs about loggerhead stability on Launchpad.
As far as who I am, here's a brief summary:
I'm the Chief Engineer of this company:
http://www.everythingsolved.com/
We do development consulting and contracting, and in this particular
case, I'm on contract with Canonical to work on loggerhead stability.
Right now, if you want me to work on more than simple bug fixes,
approval has to go through Francis.
Additionally:
I'm more or less the chief developer of this project:
http://www.bugzilla.org/
I'm the author and maintainer of this website:
http://www.fedorafaq.org/
And I write this blog:
