I tried to go through your traceback, but the factory function that's breaking seems to be new to your branch.
This could be the problem: it's possible that a LibraryFileAlias could get loaded directly from the database, without the instrumentation added by the FakeLibrarian. I'll have to re-think the jiggery-pokery that goes into instrumenting them.
