I've changed a lot of the external bug tracker code in Launchpad so that
the status mappings are self documenting. This code hasn't been reviewed
yet, but I've put a draft of the results at
https://help.launchpad.net/BugStatuses/draft. Everything below and
including the "Status mapping tables" header can be generated by running
a script in the LP source tree.

The upload to the help wiki still has to be done by hand, but there's no
reason why we couldn't add a page to Launchpad itself to describe these
mappings, linked from the external bug tracker pages. However, the
branch is getting big now, so I'll file a follow-up bug for that once
these changes are accepted.
