I've hacked the javascript to asynchronously make a server call when the popup is opened to get the pending builds. These pending builds are marked as such on the popup.

If all builds are pending, the "Request Builds" button is disabled.

The builds as shown on the recipe page may be stale but the latest info is always retrieved to manipulated the popup distros.
