Ok correction. the inline-block is due to the default style sheet on all img tags from Chrome. I assumed it was a tweak in the YUI version since the tests were failing for me in Chrome when I launched it due to an additional test failure in the file. The startswith isn't necessary for the tests to pass in the build system with the cli test runner, but these tests will fail for Chrome users without it.
