The deprecation process of PostgreSQL is... oO

Do we have some written plan anywhere how the upgrade process will happen? ie which steps are necessary in which order? In which time frame will this happen?

Would it make sense to add the removal of this patch as a Jira ticket?

I like the idea of meta issues, which both links all necessary tasks for the actual work, ie the migration, and all tasks post migration.
