Hi Patrick and welcome aboard!

It would be a good idea to go to your Launchpad homepage and select your
preferred languages.

Although this page refers to Ubuntu, it is a great resource for translation
on Launchpad. -- https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/
Also check out:

https://translations.launchpad.net/+groups/ubuntu-translators --
translation teams for Ubuntu

https://translations.launchpad.net/+groups/launchpad-translators --
translation teams for Launchpad

Generally, you'll need to join the translation team appropriate to the
language that you want to translate to. So if you want to help with Spanish
translation, the Spanish translation team would be the one to look for.

Each team has its own coordinator and translation guidelines, so make sure
you check these out too. They will usually be on the team's homepage as
links.

Some teams are Open to membership -- this means you can join and start
translating at once. Some teams are moderated, so you'll need to wait for
approval and/or submit suggestions to the packages you're willing to help
with.

Regards,

Joel Pickett
